Rana Begins Dubbing for ‘Nenu Naa Rakshasi’

Rana Daggubati, Ileana starrer Nenu Naa Rakshasi is currently undergoing its post-production works but the film is yet to complete 4 days of shoot. While this rest of the shooting part will begin from 27th, January, Rana is currently busy in finishing up his dubbing part for the film.

The young actor seems to be much excited on this Puri Jagannadh directorial which is slated for its release in the month of March. Rana promises audiences saying, Nenu Naa Rakshasi offers entirely new script with a unique way of storytelling.

“Nenu naa Rakshashi film looks more exciting than I ever expected. Really glad I’m part of a story like this. Thank you Puri for choosing me for this film. Very very happy to be a part of new story-telling like this,” says Rana.

Movie ‘Lovely’ Shooting at Ramoji Film

Power Star Pawan Kalyan is back in action. Pawan’s next flick titled Lovely is currently progressing its shoot at Ramoji Film City. It is known that Pawan Kalyan is playing the dual roles in the film and so, Trisha and Kirti Karbanda will be seen romancing with the Power Star in the film.

Lovely is being directed by Jayanth C Paranjee, produced by Ganesh Babu, and co-produced by Bade Ravi under Parameshwara Arts banner. Mani Sharma is composing the music for the film while Trivikram has penned the dialogues. As per the film-makers, the shooting part of the film will be wrapped up by February.

Ganeshbabu who is producing ‘Lovely’ of Pawan Kalyan with Jayant C Paranji as director is seriously thinking of preponing the release. Though the was supposed to release in the third week of April, the producer is making efforts to release the film on March 28. Trisha is playing the heroine in this film. The unit is hastening the shooting and is undertaking post-production works too simultaneously.

Movie 'Dookudu' Shooting in Ramanaidu Studios

Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming film Dookudu was delayed due to Tollywood strike and the fresh schedule took off in Hyderabad, Ramanaidu studios today. Talkie part shoot is going on at the moment. Samantha is paired up with Mahesh for the first time. Srinu Vytla is directing this flick.

Dookudu was previously slated for April release but the delay in shoot has now pushed it to May. Mahesh Babu will be continuously working for Dookudu until he is done with it. The star wants this film to come out as quick as possible because he had only single release in the last three years.

With Khaleja disappointing Mahesh Babu and his fans, utmost care is taken on Dookudu to win the box office. Let us hope that Price rocks this time.

Balakrishna Play Triple Role In New Movie

After the failure of Parama Veera Chakra Balakrishna is moving on with another project with Paruchuri Murali. The second schedule of the movie has been started at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. It is said that Balakrishna will be playing a triple role in this movie. The story line of the movie is set in the backdrop of Rayalseema.

Paruchuri Murali is the director. ML Padma Kumar Chowdary is the producing this film under the banner of Sri Keerthi Combines banner.

Producer Chowdary said that the audience will just go spellbound with the three role of Balakrishna. The story and narration are full of novelty. A month-long uninterrupted schedule will be there in Vizag, soon. A costly set is being erected there.

Jayasudha, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Brahmanandam, Charan Raj, MS Narayana, Venu Madhav, Aditya Menon and others are among the cast.

Tanish's New Movie 'Maa Abbai Engineering Student'

Young hero Tanish who made his debut with successful film Nachavule has been a busy bee since then.

Tanish is coming up with a new movie under the production of Sai Sada Jyothi Pictures. It has been titled as ‘ Maa Abbai Engineering Student’. It is being directed by debutant director Guttula Srinivas while D V Chalam and D V Gopala Rao are the producers. Shooting of the film will begin in February.

Speaking about the film producers D V Chalam and D V Gopala Rao said ‘ Tanish will be seen in an unique role in the film. The film is going to be family-oriented with comedy as main ingredient. It will be liked by all sections of audience. We are planning to shot at Rajamundry, Amalapuram and surroundings of Vishakapatnam’.

The film features Chinni Charan will compose the music, Sriram will handle camera and dialogues are being penned by Marudhuri Raja.

Currently, Tanish is working for a film ‘Manchivadu’ on the banner of Super Good Films. Also, he is doing ‘Kodi Punju’ which is being directed by B V V Choudhary.

Chiru's 150th Movie To Direct By Vinayak

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s reentry into films has been confirmed long back but the plans to launch that mega venture have been postponed due to the sudden change in the politics. Chiranjeevi got busy with his party work and hence the idea to start his 150th film was pushed back.

Although Chiranjeevi’s reentry has been declared, the megastar and co maintained silence about the director of that film. There were many names that popped up in discussions and the latest news is that director VV Vinayak is zeroed into take up this prestigious film.

Chiranjeevi recently watched Allu Arjun’s Badrinath rushes and was very impressed with Vinayak’s work in it. Therefore, he asked Vinayak to wield the megaphone for his 150th film, says reports. Anushka As Rani Rudrama Devi

Anushka Shetty who enthralled the audiences with her performance in ‘Arundathi’ is now focusing on heroine-centric films. If sources are to be believed, Anushka is all set to act in a historic movie which will be based on life of dynamic ‘Rani Rudramadevi’ . Ace Director Gunasekhar is likely to direct the film. It is learnt that Gunasekhar after the mega flop of ‘Varudu’ at box-office is keen to prove himself with this new platform. It is also learnt that the story discussions are presently going on.

The film is said to be made with a whooping budget of 40 crores. It is expected to release both in Telugu and Tamil versions simultaneously. It is reported that Anushka has given bulk dates for the film. However, formal announcement is yet to be made.

Illayaraja Honoured M.S.Subbalakshmi Award

Tamil Nadu State Government has instituted an award in memory of the doyen of Carnatic music M.S.Subbalakshmi. Music maestro Ilayaraja was on Monday named as the recipient of the prestigious award. The TN Government announced this in a press note issued on Monday. TN Chief Minister, M. Karunanidhi, had announced in the Assembly in 2009 that renowned artistes will be honoured with awards instituted in the names of MS Subbulakshmi, Bharathiar and Balasaraswati. The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh. Noted Writer Jayakanthan was honoured with the Bharathiar award and danseuse Padma Subramaniam was bestowed with the Balasaraswati award.

RGV Next with Ravi Teja at Zero Cost Film

Ram Gopal Varma is all set to make a film at a zero cost! Yes, the director himself has confirmed that he is making the film with Ravi Teja in the lead. Adding to it, he has taken oath to complete the movie in just five days with a unit of just 8 people.

According to RGV, “No one in this film including the actors, technicians and equipments suppliers are going to be paid any remuneration. It will be made only with those actors and technicians who are excited to be a part of this project.” He also adds that they will be paid after the release depending upon the profits that is if and only the film makes profits and those payments will be in accordance with their individual value additions.

The movie has been titled Dongala Mutha. Charmy Kaur, Ajay and Subbaraju have also agreed to be part of the film. The movie will hit the floors on February 11, soon after the release of Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju. The proposed movie will be released on March 11. Directors Puri Jagannath and Harish Shanker are also part of this project.

NTR’s ‘Shakti’ Progressing in Dubai
