She gets up in the early hours for her morning television breakfast show job - and Kate Garraway certainly looked like she'd got dressed in the dark today as she left the Daybreak studios.

The show's entertainment editor was wearing a garish white and black striped coat that looked like an over-sized Breton jumper, accessorised with a black beret to complete her French onion seller look.

All that was missing was a string of onions and an old fashioned bicycle.

But for Kate Garraway comfort clearly comes before a chic appearance and the sensible mother-of-two wrapped up warm as she left the ITV studios earlier today.

The 43-year-old Daybreak presenter broke stepped out in, not one, but two jackets as she left work in London.
